Domestic equities rallied for the second day straight tracking global cues. BSE benchmark Sensex climbed 282.88 points, or 0.44 per cent to 64,363.78, while broader Nifty 50 jumped 92.40 points, or 0.48 per cent to 19,225.65.
Tata Motors rallied over 5 per cent after the automobile major posted its fourth consecutive quarterly profit as sales of Jaguar Land Rover continued to jump. The stock closed around 1.50 per cent higher at Rs 647 on BSE.
