Adani Enterprises Ltd’s (AEL) consolidated net profit for the April-June quarter jumped 43.5 per cent year-on-year to Rs 673.93 crore, the Adani group’s flagship company said in an exchange filing on Thursday.
The firm’s net profit in the year-ago period stood at Rs 469.46 crore.
However, the Adani group firm’s revenue from operations slipped 37.7 per cent to Rs 25,438.45 crore in the first quarter of FY23, from Rs 40,844.25 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago.

AEL’s EBIDTA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) jumped 70.5 per cent to Rs 1,078.52 crore in the first quarter, from Rs 632.47 crore in Q2FY23.
Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani in a statement said, “These results are a validation of the Adani Group’s robust operational and financial achievements.”

Adani Enterprises’ stock closed 2.40 per cent higher on BSE at Rs 2,532.55.
