Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading charge point operators (CPOs), Chargezone, Glida, Statiq and Zeon, to roll out over 10,000 additional electric vehicles charging points within the next 12-15 months.
TPEM will actively assist the four CPOs in installing chargers at locations most frequented by its EV owners and share insights on how the chargers are being used to help understand and enhance customer experience. “This MoU crucially builds on the significant existing presence of each operator in the charging ecosystem and TPEM’s unique telematics insights basis more than 1.15 lakh Tata EVs on Indian roads,” it said.
