The Union government has reappointed Michael D Patra as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for a year, effective January 15.
This is the second extension given by the Cabinet’s Appointments Committee to Patra. On January 15 last year, too, he was re-appointed as Deputy Governor for a year.
