A proxy advisory firm Institutional Investor Advisory Services (IiAS) on Tuesday asked the independent directors of Raymond Ltd to conduct an independent investigation into an allegation of assault made against the company Chairman and Managing Director Gautam Singhania by his ex-wife Nawaz Modi.
There were media reports of Nawaz Modi Singhania, a board member, alleging that she and her daughter were physically assaulted by Gautam Singhania, at JK House (company’s property) in September 2023, IiAS said in a letter to independent directors.
