Sustained foreign fund inflows, good corporate earnings so far and strong global cues helped the domestic equity benchmarks surge to fresh record highs on Thursday.
The 30-share Sensex finished at 67,571.9, with a gain of 474.46 points, or 0.71 per cent. The index continued to touch new highs for the sixth trading session in a row. So far in July, the Sensex has rallied 2,367 points or 3.63 per cent.
