Domestic equities plunged on Monday after a war escalated between Israel and Palestine-based Hamas over the weekend. BSE benchmark Sensex slumped 483.24 points, 0.73 per cent to 65,512.39, and broader NSE Nifty 50 slipped 142.60 points, or 0.80 per cent to 19,510.90.
Barring India Vix, which spurt over 12 per cent, all broader market indices plunged over 1 per cent today. Nifty Smallcap 50 fell 1.89 per cent today, Nifty Microcap 250 plunged 2.21 per cent, followed by Nifty Smallcap 100 at 1.78 per cent, Nifty Smallcap 250 at 1.63 per cent, Nifty Midsmallcap 400 at 1.44 per cent, Nifty Midcap 100 and 150 at 1.34 per cent each, and Nifty Next 50 at 1.21 per cent.
